Day one in Ohio- My plane ride went okay for once which is very suprising. No delays and there was hardly any layover. The night of my arival Santa came to our house and everyone came over with there little kids to sit on his lap. We had dinner which was great and sitting on santas lap was embarasing but now id say it was worth it. I loved getting to hold all the little babies. All of them were adorable.
Day two in Ohio- on the second day in Ohio we had breakfast with the Yund family and opened our presents. Grandpa Yund who just recently passed away of cancer was a big role in Christmas this year. All the daughters of his were very tuched by all the gifts that were given in memory of him. He actually put together a movie for them to watch called "Me Second." This movie talked about his love for God, his family and all the people that inspired him through the years. One day when im old I hope to be like that man. After Christmas with the Yund family which is also mt step-moms side of the family we went to my dads work christmas party. This party consisted of farmers which made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt like I was from a diffrent country the way they looked at me. After going to that we went to the movie rental place and rented the hunger games. We proceded to watch that after dinner. My dad got hooked and we eneded up watching it two more times.
Day three in Ohio- On the third day in Ohio I went to lunch with my grandparents my brother and sister and my cousins. We went to Dr. Dutchmans which is one of my favorite places to eat when I come to visit Ohio. That night my family and I went to the 7:00pm church service and got to sing about Jesus and his birthday.
Day four in Ohio- Today which is my very last day in Ohio for Christmas break my family and I woke up and opened presents and ate breakfast. I am beyond thankful for all my gifts even though they are all overwhelming me with the thought of college. After spending a great Christmas morning with the family I went to Catching Fire with my dad and little sister. My dad has formed a love for the hunger games. I was happy to acompany him considering its also my favorite. This will have been my third time seeing the movie in the theater. This AMC theater was so cool. It had reclinable chairs that laid flat like a bed. I think our local AMC needs to step it up a little bit. After the movie we came home just in time for Christmas dinner and opening presents with my dads side of the family. We had a funny gift exchange and I got the duck dynasty chia pet which I thought was ironic considering everyone from Poquoson loves Duck Dynasty. After opening all of our gifts we played games and ate dinner. My grandma brought her pies and im convinced she is one of the best bakers in the world. Over all I had an amazing christmas and I wouldnt have changed it for the world. Tomorrow ill be getting on my flight to head back home and hopefully it goes just as good as coming did.
